What if EVery Believer became a Witness?
CELEBRATING PENTECOST TOGETHER AS WITNESSES OF CHRIST
We as Christians have learned how to celebrate Christmas and Easter. It is time to adopt Pentecost as a third important annual Christian holiday.
Having encountered the risen Christ, the first disciples were strengthened and prayed for 50 days. After receiving the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, they set out as witnesses of Christ in the power of God, and the era of the church of Christ began.
In the same way we equip ourselves, pray and go out with the gospel and love. Particularly on the Pentecost weekend we celebrate the risen Lord by sharing the gospel with someone. In this way we make Pentecost a big shared celebration when the witness about Christ is heard by everyone.
Easter to Pentecost is a global initiative, coordinated in Finland by the Evangelical Alliance of Finland.

Prayer and fasting: March 1-31
In March we invite all Christians to pray and, if possible, also to fast for Finland and for the advancing of the gospel in our country.
Sharing Jesus: April 5 – May 24
From Easter to Pentecost we go out and share the message of Jesus in different ways – street evangelism, witnessing to our friends and relatives, helping those in need, different events and campaigns, and worshiping Jesus together in the streets of every city and town on the eve of Pentecost (May 23). Join alone, with your friends or with your whole church!

My successor: the whole church
When asked about his successor, Billy Graham emphasized that the focus should be on each Christian being a witness, not on one great evangelist.
